1975 marked the return of John and his family to the civilian life and back to his native area, the San Francisco Bay Area. With a more demanding job, his photographic interests lessened. During this period, the amount of black and white pictures taken dwindled to essentially nothing. The pictures taken during this period were primarily based on using his young children as models, but with some pictures taken from a fruitful trip to Yellowstone and the local area. The last of the medium format pictures were taken, but none were selected. Therefore, all pictures were derived from the 35mm format.
