Most of the pictures shown here are derived from color slides, which were scanned then edited in Photoshop. A few of the pictures are based on the color negatives that John had developed at outside labs. The negatives did not hold up well over time and they developed a strong color cast and some deterioration. However, the images resulting from a scan of the negatives underwent significant restoration and the resulting pictures are very close to the original prints.
